Misery wins Larne!!

WE WON!!!

Results from Larne Drama Festival:

Best Overall Play - The Festival of Britain Commemoration Trophy = 'Misery'
Best Acress - The Elizabeth Coronation Trophy = Lynne Taylor, 'Misery'
Best Actor - The Joan McCully Award = Alan Martin, 'Misery'
Best Producer - The Major Williamson Memorial Trophy = Christine Martin, 'Misery'
Best Stage Decor - Alan Marshall for 'Misery'

Other plays:
2nd, Hollywood Players, 'A Woman of No Importance'
3rd, Rosemary Drama Group, 'Tea in a China Cup'
4th, Ballymoney Lit & Deb, 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane'
Congratulations to those companies.
Also our congratulations go to Andrew Campbell for winning the NATA Training Award for his part in Belvoir Players 'All my Sons' and Louise McWilliams who was again nominated for the Best Actress Award.

I don't have the full results from Newtownabbey, but 'Misery' won best Decor and best moment of Theatre.

Home Run
We are hoping to bring 'Misery' home for two performances at Barts and provisionally are planning 2nd-3rd May, though several factors have to be resolved first. So watch this space.
