Request from James Burns

Anticipating August's issue of 'Stage Whispers', I am keen to receive photographs of the play "The Big House" in rehearsal, in performance, in photo call, of the awards ceremomy etc. etc.

Please e-mail me with anything you have.

Once again congratulations to the team on a magnificent achievement.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

James Burns

    HELP REQUIRED!

I am looking for anyone who can provide assistance with backstage work on the summer show - I will require one or two people for each night to help backstage on scene changes and ensuring props are where they should be! The performance dates are as follows:

    1/2 August - Ballyearl
    20-23 August - Portrush
    11-13 September - Barts

I will also need the usual bodies to assist with the moving of the set when we get to that stage!

We are rehearsing on Tuesdays and Thursdays as usual, so if anyone is able to get involved please come along or send me an email.

    Thanks,

    Emma

PS Congratulations to the "Big House" team on their success in Armagh!

    The Big House team won:

Best Overall Production - Gillian Porter and Bart Players' 'The Big House'
    Best Moment of Theatre
    - 'The fire' - Carrie Mercer and the stage team particularly praised
Best Decor - Alan Marshall for The Big House set

On a personal note, I don't know about the rest of you but I am absolutely chuffed about the whole thing and proud to be part of a team which produced their absolute best at just the right moment.

In addition I want to add my gratitude to the Technical boys who sometimes get overshadowed by the 'Oscar' winners.

    Brilliant !
